Originally from Northwest Indiana, Josie Tolin currently lives in Atlanta, where she is the Fiction Fellow at Emory University. Her work has received support from Sewanee Writers Conference, Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts, The Hambidge Center, and more. Her short stories are featured or forthcoming in Oxford American, The Rumpus, Michigan Quarterly Review, Copper Nickel, Salamander, Five Points, and elsewhere. She is at work on a story collection and a novel.
